Module 11
This week we attended the Maker's Day event, to explore the different technologies used in the Maker Movement. The technology that I found most useful for what I plan to teach is the virtual classrooms technology. The device used in this technology is just a normal phone, and it creates a 3-D world for the student to explore. This is a very useful piece of technology to teach social or science. It can be used to explore very difficult concepts, like what the inside of a cell looks like, facts about space and many others. The world are interactive as well. To create the video to the left, I used Screencast-O-Matic. Which is an application that records your monitor.
